Onchocerciasis (River Blindness)
Uganda is close to the elimination of onchocerciasis. Currently, there is a gap in post-elimination surveillance. NCHRD will be involved in post-elimination surveillance. Where there is disease recrudescence, NCHRD will be involved primarily in Vector Control.
